Description

Elisir N.3 Dark Honey is a fragrance inspired by the pharmaceutical traditions of the late 18th century, heirs to a knowledge of poisons that was as thaumaturgical as it was obscure. In this view, bees were the only beings in nature capable of generating a sweet ambrosia like honey and, at the same time, a bitter poison, sometimes lethal. Together, these two ingredients have formed the basis of many infusions and filters, both therapeutic and non-therapeutic, over the years. The olfactory notes that characterize it are enveloping, mixing the sweetness of honey with the aromas of leather used in the bindings of the books where this dark knowledge was preserved.

Fragrance

The fragrance has an effervescent opening with fresh citrus notes of bergamot and grapefruit. Waiting for the heart notes, you can taste the true essence of the fragrance, when the harsh scents of leather emerge with vigor, softened by the smoothness of honey. In the base notes, cedar wood and vetiver give the fragrance a rustic, woody inspiration, where the harsher aromas are softened by amber.
